McKenzie Anne Smith is a Meisner trained film/television/theatre actress based in Boston and New York City.

Born and raised in Massachusetts, McKenzie has always had a flair for the dramatic. From planning elaborate birthday parties for her stuffed animals to choreographing a full dance routine to “Lady is a Tramp” from season three of Glee and restyling Billy Joel’s “Big Shot” as “Lip Gloss with her younger brother there is no creative endeavor McKenzie has shied away from.

She started performing at age eleven after seeing a production of The Sound of Music at The Cape Cod Playhouse. At age thirteen she became interested in technical theatre after being invited to help with hair and makeup for her local high school’s production of Into The Woods. She spent the next five years volunteering in the costume department for the company her local middle/high school while also performing in the main stage productions.

Since graduating from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in 2025, McKenzie has established herself as a versatile performer in theatre and television. She has most recently been seen as ‘Smitty’ in Play On!, Touchstone in As You Like It, and a video extra in the off-broadway play Dilaria.

Outside of acting, McKenzie enjoys channeling her energy into other creative endeavors. Crochet, knitting, embroidery, watercolor, coloring, and prop making are included on the short list of things McKenzie does in her spare time. She is utterly convinced she is capable of doing anything and everything no matter her skill level or experience.
